Linn County Pioneer Picnic HIGH SCHOOL COURT
Princess Georgette Forrest
Princess Georgette Rose Forrest is 17 years old, in the 11th grade, and is homeschooled. She is the daughter of Rich and Katie Forrest and lives just outside of Brownsville. She has three siblings: Richard (16), Audrey (14), and Beatrice (12). Georgette’s favorite subjects in school are Ancient Greek and Physics. Her favorite movie is Titanic, and her favorite color is brown. Georgette loves classical music and pop. She loves sushi and Thai food. On a normal day you will find Georgette reading, cooking, and hanging out with friends. When asked what her favorite thing to do at the Pioneer Picnic was, she said watching the parade and walking around. Georgette loves a competitive game of Settlers of Catan with her family. The silliest thing she has ever done was run into a sliding glass door. Georgette says the bravest thing she has ever done was probably killing a spider. Winston Churchill is someone Georgette looks up too. Georgette says she has a work hard, play hard mentality; she is studious but also loves a good adventure.

Jr. Princess Lily Anne Bagg-Bearnson
Jr. Princess Lily Anne Bagg-Bearnson is 9 yrs old and in the 3rd grade at Central Linn Elementary School. She is the daughter of Debbie Bearnson and lives in Brownsville. She has 2 siblings, Nicolas and Sawyer and 5 step siblings. Lily's favorite subject in school is math. Her favorite color is red. Lily's favorite movie is Freaky Friday. She likes to listen to pop music. Her favorite food is tacos. Kitties are her favorite animal. On a normal day you will find Lily watching Netflix and chilling. When asked what her favorite thing to do at the Pioneer Picnic is, she said watching the parade. Lily's favorite sport is cheerleading. Her favorite family activity is playing board games. The silliest thing Lily does is to make her monkey face. The bravest thing Lily has done is to hold a big snake. The nicest thing Lily does is to cheer people up when they are sad. Those she looks up to is her Mother and Grandma Bonnie. Polite, kind, helpful and funny are words Lily uses to describe herself.
Jr. Princess Sloan Eleanor Leach
Jr. Princess Sloan Eleanor Leach is 9 years old and in the 3rd grade, at Central Linn Elementary. She is the daughter of Jessica and Andrew Leach and lives in Brownsville. She has one sibling Owen (7). Sloan likes all subjects in school but if she had to pick one favorite subject in school it would be reading. Her favorite color is pink. Sloan’s favorite movie is Harry Potter. She likes all music by Taylor Swift. Her favorite foods are chili, tacos, Pad Thai, eggs, and pickles. The elephant is her favorite animal. On a normal day, you will find Sloan reading, drawing, playing outside, or sewing. When asked what her favorite thing to do at Pioneer Picnic was, she said watching the parades. Sloan said going on road trips and playing outside are her favorite family activities to do. Sloan’s favorite sports are volleyball, basketball, and softball. The silliest thing she has done was sleepwalking. The bravest thing Sloan ever did was when she had a speaking part in her school program. Sloan said the nicest thing she has ever done was to start a kindness club at her school. Sloan said her Mom and Dad are whom she looks up to. Sloan describes herself as kind, artistic, caring, thoughtful, smart, and ready to try new things.
Jr. Princess Ellen Pedersen
Jr. Princess Ellen Pedersen is 9 years old and in the 3 rd grade. She is the daughter of Clinton and
Heather Pederen and lives in Brownsville. The library (Language Arts) is Ellen’s favorite class in
school. Her favorite color is turquoise. A cheetah is her favorite animal. When asked what her
favorite thing to do at Pioneer Picnic was, it’s catching candy. The bravest thing Ellen ever did
was when she went indoor skydiving. Ellen said the nicest thing she ever did was when she
stood up for a friend. Ellen describes herself as kind, happy, helpful, and adventurous.
Jr. Princess Marilyn Clydell Kay Simmons
Jr. Princess Marilyn Clydell Kay Simmons is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade, at Central Linn Elementary. She is the daughter of Ashlie and Tyler Simmons and lives in Brownsville. She has two siblings, Aurora (11) and Duncan (6). Marilyn’s favorite subject in school is math. Her favorite colors are purple and yellow. Marilyn’s favorite movie is K-pop Demon Hunters. She likes pop music. Her favorite foods are cake and ice cream. An Axolotl is her favorite animal. On a normal day, you will find Marilyn playing on the trampoline or riding her bike. When asked what her favorite thing to do at Pioneer Picnic was, she said playing the games and playing on the inflatables. Marilyne's favorite sport is wrestling. Her favorite family activity to do is playing together. The silliest thing she has done was to act like a flying squirrel on her trampoline. The bravest thing Marilyn ever did was when, as a 3rd grader, pinned a 5th grader. Marilyn said the nicest thing she ever did was to help her classmates with their homework. Marilyn said her Mom is someone she looks up to. Marilyn describes herself as kind and respectful, silly and brave.
